Parkson Corporation Names Michael Hill as New President and Chief Executive Officer

Parkson Corporation, a leading provider of advanced products and solutions in water and wastewater treatment, announced today, the appointment of Michael Hill as its new President and Chief Executive Officer. Mr. Hill will succeed Shamus Hurley, who is stepping down after seven years as CEO. Mr. Hill joined Parkson in early 2008 and in his eleven years with the company has held various leadership roles in areas that included Six Sigma, Business Process Improvement, Product Portfolio Management and Regional Sales Management. In 2014, Mr. Hill was made an executive of the corporation, responsible for the leadership of global sales and marketing functions, and, most recently, saw his role expand to include the general management of Parkson’s Mechanical Products and Aftermarket Business.

During his tenure, Hurley led the company’s transformation by building out more service and manufacturing capabilities via the acquisition of category leaders FilterONE USA™ (2016) and Meurer Research, Inc. (2017). Additionally, he oversaw Parkson’s licensing of advanced biological technologies from Equanox Systems® and the launch of many successful products like the Aqua Caiman® and Aqua Rhino™ screens that extended the company’s participation into new segments.
